We operate the website https://escusi.com and the escusi, escusi Staff, and escusi Admin mobile applications, together with any related products and services that link to these legal terms (collectively, the "Services").
escusi is a hospitality service platform that lets guests at participating venues send service requests — such as calling a waiter, requesting the bill, or contacting the front desk or housekeeping — by tapping an NFC tag or opening a link at their table or room.

By accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES.
The Staff and Admin apps and the venue dashboard are intended for users who are at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a business.
A single subscription covers one restaurant and one hotel, each with unlimited tables, rooms, and staff, at USD $2.99 per month or USD $29.90 per year. We collect and securely store your payment method at sign-up, but recurring billing does not begin until your account is activated — when you receive your first service request (including a test request), or 30 days after your NFC tags are dispatched, whichever comes first. Your subscription then renews automatically until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
You may switch between monthly and annual plans at any time: an upgrade to annual takes effect immediately with a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current period, and a downgrade to monthly takes effect at the end of your current annual term. We may change our pricing at any time; new prices apply to new subscriptions immediately, and to an existing subscription at its next renewal following reasonable advance notice.
Payments are processed by Stripe in US dollars. NFC tags are USD $2.00 each, exclusive of shipping and any applicable duties or taxes, which are the purchaser's responsibility. Except where required by law, all fees — including for partial billing periods and tag purchases — are non-refundable. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information.
You may not use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: sending false, abusive, or spam requests; interfering with or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any venue's systems; using automated systems to access the Services; reverse engineering the Services; or engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws.
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in our Services, including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics. Our content and marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of content you provide, such as venue details and staff photos, and grant us a license to host and use it to provide the Services.

escusi is a real-time service that depends on technology and people outside our control. You acknowledge and agree that:
The Services are for routine, non-urgent guest service only. They are NOT an emergency, security, medical, or safety system and must not be relied on for any urgent or life-safety communication. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES AND YOUR USE THEREOF. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY REQUEST WILL BE SEEN, RESPONDED TO, OR FULFILLED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
If a dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@escusi.com. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Wyoming, United States.
